Now that we have already learnt how to form an online group, let’s discuss a few tips on how to make it popular.
#1. Appoint a moderator for the group – somebody who is proactive and can sustain the discussion thread among the members.
#2. Include some expert opinion to authenticate what you discuss.
#3. Whenever you write an email, comment on other’s blog, always sign off with your name followed by the name / link of your group.
#4. Comment on other people’s discussions (if it’s an open group) and try to mention your group’s name and objective.
#5. Organize for regular meet-ups of the members.
#6. Your comments on the topic discussed should be such that it influences others to respond/ react, so that the conversation thread doesn’t snap.
